title: IRROPS

Passenger Disruption Decision Assistant

Summary

The Passenger Disruption Decision Assistant is an internal decision-support tool designed to streamline irregular operations (IRROPS) management. By translating public airline policies into clear, explainable triage guidance, the prototype enables frontline staff to consistently handle baggage issues, fare inclusions, and booking changes. Prioritizing clarity and reliability through structured data, it demonstrates how complex policy logic can be simplified to accelerate passenger recovery without relying on live production systems.

This internal decision-support concept shows how public passenger policy can be converted into explainable triage guidance for frontline staff, combining routing, risk, and audit-style reasoning for faster and more consistent handling.

Scope

The prototype is intentionally limited to passenger-facing policy scenarios such as baggage, fare inclusions, booking changes, check-in timing, and dispute or escalation situations derived from public airline materials. It is not an operational airline control tool and does not rely on internal systems, confidential documents, or live production data.

Notes

The current version prioritizes reliability and clarity for demonstration purposes by using precomputed structured outputs and static data sources. This makes it suitable for a fast executive review without dependence on live external services.
